An Award for Kochadaiyaan even before the Release

Kochadaiyaan, the film which was the first film in Indiaproduced with the use of performance & motion capture Technology has now baggedan award even before the release of the film.

Kochadaiyaan was awarded by NDTV for the implementation ofTechnical Innovation in Film industry.

Soundarya Rajinikanth was honoured for Technical InnovationIn Film at NDTV Indian Year Of The Year awards 2013.

In a special message to his daughter, Rajinikanth said,"I saw the film and told her 'I'm proud of you' and definitely the nationwill be proud of you."

Soundarya said that the motion capture technology was mostcommonly used in Hollywood and she has thanked her father Rajinikanth for helpingher bringing the technology to India.

She also added that Animation is completely different fromcartoon. The actors have acted and their performance is also captured and isrecreated with a virtual technology.

Moreover, she has even recreated the performance of Nageshwho is no more. She has done that by capturing the performance of someone elsewho can act and talk like him.
