'Purampokku' the film which has Arya, Shaam and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead roles, is being directed by S.P.Jananathan, almost after a gap of 5 years directing Peranmai.
The shooting for the film has been launched few months earlier and some schedules has been completed in Kulu Manali and surrounding places.
Jananathan has then planned to shoot the film in Jail sets in chennai. But the stars didnt backed him.
Vijay Sethupathi has not participated in the films shooting as his film 'Vanmam' has not been completed as scheduled.
Arya was also much busy shooting for Meegaman. Shaam and heroine Karthika was also much busy with their respective Telugu films.
As the director is not able to coordinate all the stars easily, he has met all of them individually and asked them to allot him contuous dates of 45 days for Porampokku.
