Music Director Devi Sri Prasad who has composed music for Vijay in 'Sachin' will now compose music for him again in his next film.

Vijay who is currenty busy actdisng in Kaththi, will be acting in the film directed by Chimbudevan. Reportedly DSP has been roped in for the music of the film.

Though DSP was much successful in Tollywood, he wasn't able to find an option to have a established position in Tamil cinema.

Kaththi 'Title' in new Trouble!!

Ilayathalapathi's upcoming film 'Kathi' is facing several troubles in the current scenario for the connection of the production company Lyca Productions with the Srilankan President Rajapaksa who was accused for the mass killing of Tamils in Eelam.Kathi has now been reported to be facing a new trouble for its titlle. 

There was another film which is under production named 'Kathi Sandai' which is registered in the producers council. The producer of that film has now reportedly filed a complaint against Kaththi in the court.Earlier, Vijay A.R.Muragadoss film Thuppaki has also faced the same problem as another film named 'KallaThupakki' has booked a case against Thuppaki in court. 

But later they have made a compromise with them and then released 'Thuppakki'.'KathiSandai' producer Ravi Inba has sent a notice to Murugadoss regarding the title and he might go to the court for the same.

Arjun Rampal roped in for Soni Razdan's Love Affair

Filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt's better half Soni Razdan, who is all set to direct her next film titled Love Affair inspired by the sensational Nanavati murder case, has now reportedly roped in actor Arjun Rampal for one of the lead roles in the film.

While the rest of the cast has not yet been finalized, a leading tabloid has reported that Arjun was in advanced talks for the film with the producers and has agreed to be a part of it.

While Arjun has given a nod to the project, the producers are apparently searching for an international face that will reprise the role of Nanavati's wife Sylvia, who was a Britisher.

The film will be jointly produced by Bhushan Kumar's T-Series and Pooja Bhatt's Fish Eye Network.

Soni Razdan had last directed the film Nazar, starring Ashmit Patel and Pakistani actress Meera, while the producers earlier delivered romantic musical hits like Aashiqui 2 and Jism 2.

Alia Bhatt turns singer for HSKD

Actress Alia Bhatt has turned singer again. This time Alia will lend her voice for the unplugged version of the soulful track Samjhawan from her upcoming film Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania.

This new version sung by Alia will be titled Samjhawan Unplugged. Singer Arjit Singh and Shreya Ghoshal lent their voice for the original track in the film.

Infact, the song is a remake of Main Tenu Samjhawan ki which was sung by Rahet Fateh Ali Khan for the Punjabi film Virsa.

The song Samjhawan Unplugged will be released Online this weekend. This is not the first time when Alia Bhatt will be singing in her film.

The bubbly actress made her singing debut with the film Highway. Alia will again be seen with actor Varun Dhawan in Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania after the duo made their Bollywood debut with the film Student of the Year.

Directed by Shashank Khaitan, film will hit theaters on July 11, 2014.

Busy Kareena skipped hubby's Humshakals

Actress Kareena Kapoor says she couldn't catch her husband and actor-producer Saif Ali Khan's latest release "Humshakals" as she is tied up with shooting Rohit Shetty's next "Singham Returns".

Kareena is said to have laughed a lot when she saw Saif don the look of a "sexy woman" for a scene in Sajid Khan's "Humshakals", but her work kept her away from watching the full film.

When asked did she watch her husband's film "Humshakals", she told reporters in a group interview:  "I was busy shooting for my film and I don't watch much Hindi films."

"This year, I will watch only two films 'Singham Returns' and 'P.K.' as both are made by my two favourite directors," she added with a laugh.

"P.K." has been made by Vinod Chopra Films and Rajkumar Hirani Films, in association with Disney India.

The romantic thriller that stars Sidharth Malhotra, Riteish Deshmukh and Shraddha Kapoor, has done well on home turf.

Kalangiyam has even asked the council to allow her to act in that film only after complete acting in his film.

On considering the case, the Tamil Nadu Film Producers' Guild (TNPG) has now asked Anjali to act in Oor Sutri Puranam or pay compensation to Kalanjiyam.

'Madras' Songs Releasing Today!

karthi's upcoming film "Madras" with Catherine Tresa as heroine, has been directed by 'Attakathi' fame director Pa.Ranjith.

Santhosh Narayanan has composed the music for the film and the songs will be releasing today.The director has said that the film will focus on the politics inside the slum area.

The film will portray how the poor are still looking for solutions to the same issues that have been plaguing them for a long time: poverty, powerlessness and so on.

'Purampokku' Shooting Shelved Again!!

'Purampokku' the film which has Arya, Shaam and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead roles, is being directed by S.P.Jananathan, almost after a gap of 5 years directing Peranmai.

The shooting for the film has been launched few months earlier and some schedules has been completed in Kulu Manali and surrounding places.

Anjali who was in the news earlier for the controversy, as she has absconded from the shooting of a film director Kalanjiyam.

She has recently been roped in director Suraj for the film with Jayam Ravi.

But Kalanjiyam has raised his voice that she should be allowed to act in another film only after completing his film.

Kalanjiyam has also placed a complaint to the producers and directors council.

The latest reports claim that Director Suraj has roped in Kajal Agarwal as a replacement for Anjali in the film.

He has even asked Anjali to return back the advance pay amount he has earlier paid.As Anjali has no other option, she has returned the advance amount.

Veteran Director Ramanarayanan Passed Away!!

Veteran Director & producer Ramanarayanan who holds the record of directing more number of films in India (around 128 films), has passed away in Singapore.

He is 65 years old and has been suffered from prolonged kidney ailment and Blood pressure.

He has passed away the sunday evening and holy body will be brought to chennai today and will be cremated tomorrow in his native in Karaikudi.
