Jigarthanda Release Postponed!! Siddharth upset with Producer!

Siddharth's upcoming film 'Jigarthanda' which has earlier announced to be releasing on 25th July has now been postponed for unknown reasons and the release date of the film has not yet been disclosed by the producer.

Siddharth who has been much eagarly awaiting for the release of the film has been much upset by this postponement.He has tweeted "Sorry Jigarthanda fans.

External unfair pressure is forcing our film to be postponed. #JIGARTHANDA".

Jigarthanda its well known that this film will be Most Expected Film of the Year. 

Now the movie has been schedule to release on next friday so the promotion will be kick started yesterday itself.

The Secret Behind Delay of Jigarthanda Revealed

The most anticpated movie Jigarthanda Starring Siddharth, Lakshmi Menon Jigarthanda got a U/A certificate when it went to censors few weeks ago.

In Tamil Nadu, the U/A certificate will deny the coveted Entertainment Tax exemption and there are certain challenges associated with selling the satellite rights of a movie which is does not carry a 'U' certificate.So , producer Five Star Kathiresan requested director Karthik Subbaraj to re-edit the movie to get U certificate.

But the buzz is that Karthik is not willing to budge and holds the ground citing his rights for creative freedom.Producer and director went to their respective Council and Union to resolve the issue.

But both the parties are still holding on to their respective position, so the stalemate continues.So Jigarthanda which was supposed to be May (Summer) release is waiting in the wings not knowing its release date.
