Suriya who is one of the leading actors in the Tamil Cinema industry, is also a prominent hero in Telugu. His films are dubbed in Telugu and retains record collections.
Even sometimes his films retain more collections in Tollywood rather than Kollywood.His upcoming film Anjaan's Telugu dubbing rights has been reported to be sold out for about 20 crores, which has made everyone surprised.
The producers in Tollywood are wishing to make a direct Telugu film with Suriya in the lead. Reportedly Suriya has shown green flag for their wish and he will soon be acting in a direct Telugu film.
When asked about this Suriya has said that acting in a Telugu film will only be his obligation for the fans in Telugu Cinema as they offer much welcoming support even for his dubbing films.
He added that he is in consideration of the selection of the scripts and will soon be an official confirmation.
