Kamalhassan has just launched the shooting of the Tamil remake of the Malayalam Superhit film 'Drishyam' which actually featured Mohanlal and Meena in the lead roles.
The film has now been banned by the Ernakulam Court, until the judgement of the case against it is announced.
Bollwood producer Ektha Kapoor has filed the petition in the court claiming that the film is the copy of the story of a Japanese book, for which she has retained the movie rights.
The court on hearing the case has stalled the shooting of Tamil remake until the case is over.
