'Thanga Meengal' which has retained several national awards, has been the selected as the Best Film in the Vijay Awards.
It is to note that Yuvan Shankar Raja who has composed the soulful song 'Ananda Yaalai Meetugirai', has not even been nominated for the awards.
This has made Ram upset and has said that he has expected several awards for the film, including the one for Baby Sadhana who has acted in Thanga Meengal.
He has even asked the anchor to play the song in the event but they have denied.Later when the best film award was presented to him, he has dedicated it to yuvan and presented him the award by calling him to the dias.
