Drishyam isn't a copy: Jeethu Joseph
Kamalhassan who has recently launched the remake of the Superhit Malayalam film 'Drishyam', has been facing a legal allegation from Bollywood film producer Ekta Kapoor.
Ekta Kapoor has claimed that Drishyam is the adaptation of the Japanese novel 'The Devotion Of Suspect X' for which she has retained the movie rights.
But now Jeethu Joseph who has directed Drishyam has said that there might be similarities between the two, but isn't a exact copy.
He added that There could be similarities between my film and that Japanese film, but my film is neither an adaptation nor a copy.
