Noted character actor 'Kadhal' Dhandapani passed away today morning due to cardiac arrest. He is 71 and has acted in around 160 films in all the Southern languages.
His body is currently at the Vijaya Hospitals in Chennai and Kollywood representatives are expected to pay their last respects to him, before his cremation in his native Dindigul.
He was known for his intense portrayal in many films and also showed his knack for comedy in a few movies.
His voice was particularly marked and he would surely be missed. Sarath Kumar's Sandamarudham was the last film in which Dhandapandi took part in, before his unfortunate end today morning.
