Director Bala who is renowned for his classic lineal films like Paradesi, Nan Kadavul, Sethu, etc.. will be directing Sasikumar in his next film named 'Tharai Thappatai'.
Varalakshmi Sarathkumar will be pairing him in this movie. It is now reported that the film will be launched in the second or third week of July.
The film which is to be shot in Tanjore will portray the life the karagattam artists and we hope it might be similar to all his past films.
Supersinger Pragathi will be debuting as Sasikumar's sister in the movie. The songs of the film will be composed by Ilaiyaraja.
