'Who is the Next Superstar?' was the most recent hot controversy, for which Vijay and Ajith fans are in combat.

This has started after a popular weekly magazine has conducted poll and has released the results claiming Vijay is the next superstar based on the number of votes.

This which has boosted the controversy has made the fans of Ajith to criticize the polls to the bottom level, and finally the controversy has left out unnoticed by time.

Meanwhile, now it has been announced that 'Superstar' Title will be awarded to Ilayathalapathi Vijay in a grand ceremony in Madurai on the Independence day (15th August 2014).

If reports are to be believed several Cinema Stars will be presiding over the function to felicitate 'Superstar Vijay'.

I will ever be 'Ilayathalapathy' not 'Superstar'!

'Who is the next Superstar' was the hot controversy for a couple of weeks among the fans and the media.

A popular weekly magazine has named Vijay as the next Superstar of Tamil Cinema, mentioning the source as the poll which they conducted.

This has even made the fans of Ajith and Vijay to make a outrageous cyber war of words in the social media.

Recently, in the 'Vijay Awards' function, Vijay has quoted that he never desired to have a Superstar title, as he is contented with the 'IlayaThalapathy' title given by his fans.

He has even added "There are many talented and handsome actors in the industry, and I'm just a simple man who deserved nothing".

According to him, everyone who scores a goal at the much needed time.

Hansika and Shruti Hassan confirmed in Vijay's Next!!

Ilayathalapathi Vijay who is currently busy acting in Kaththi, has already signed his next film with Chimbudevan.

The hot news about the film is that the film will have both Hansika and Shruti Hassan in the lead heroine roles.

This will be the first time that Shruti Hassan is pairing Vijay and it will be the second time for Hansika after Velayutham.

The film is reported to be a periodic film and Vijay will be featuring in two different roles.

As Kaththi is in the final stages, the shooting of the film will commence as soon as the shooting for Kaththi is completed.

DSP to compose music for Vijay again!!

Music Director Devi Sri Prasad who has composed music for Vijay in 'Sachin' will now compose music for him again in his next film.

Vijay who is currenty busy actdisng in Kaththi, will be acting in the film directed by Chimbudevan. Reportedly DSP has been roped in for the music of the film.

Though DSP was much successful in Tollywood, he wasn't able to find an option to have a established position in Tamil cinema.

Now he has got a chance to compose for Vijay after a gap of 9 years, and we can expect him to be concentrate more on it, as it will be a turning point for him in Kollywood.

It is to note that he has also composed for Ajith's most recent film 'Veeram' which was not appreciated much.

Vijay's next - 'Shutter' Remake!!

A.L.Vijay who has been renowned to be the director who can make sentimental films, will now be making a remake.

His next film will be the remake of the malayalam film 'Shutter' which has been directed by Joy Mathews and has featured Lal, Vinay Fortt, etc.

Talking about this, Vijay said that he is considering to remake the film but nothing has been confirmed yet.

Will Vijay and Ajith films Clash Again?

Thala Ajith and Superstar Vijay whose films have clashed in the boxoffice for pongal, won't be clashing again this year.

Vijay's kaththi is in the final stages and has already been announced to be releasing for diwali this year.

Meanwhile, the shooting for Thala's 55th film has only started a month ago and the director of the film Gautham Menon is planning to complete the film as soon as possible.

When asked about the release date of the film, he has quoted that he is planning to release the film in october, but he will be releasing the film only after kaththi.

It is to note that Kaththi will be releasing on 23rd October on diwali and Thala55 will be releasing later in november or December.

Vijay's next as a 'Sultan'!!

Vijay who is currently busy acting in Kaththi being directed by A.R.Murugadoss, will be acting next in the film to be directed by Chimbudevan.
