Alludu Seenu Certified 'A' by Censor Board!

Alludu Seenu the film which stars Bellamkonda Srinivas and Samantha in the lead roles has been censored and has been certified A by the Censor Board.

Samantha played the female lead pairing Srinivas while Tamanna has done a special song. Prakash Raj played dual roles in the movie while Brahmanandam will be the only comediene.

The film which will be releasing tomorrow has been much buzzed and we can expect the film to be yet another successful one for Srinivas.

'Expendables 3' Release Postponed in India due to 'Anjaan'

Suriya's Anjaan is one of the much Buzzed film this year, and will be releasing on 15th August (Independence Day) in both Tamil and Telugu.

The Hollywood film 'Expendables 3' which features several stars including Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Randy Couture, Terry Crews, and Arnold Schwarzenegger has also been announced to be releasing on 15th August Worldwide.

But now, Expendables3 has been postponed its release in India in Tamil, Hindi and Telugu.

It is reported that the film has postponed its release keeping in mind the release of Anjaan as it is the most buzzed film in Tamil and Telugu.

As they dont want to lose the opening collections by competing with a leading star in the region.It is likely that the film will be releasing about a week later.

'Kaththi Vs Poojai' Clash at Diwali!

Nowadays, it is uncommon to see two leading actors releasing films on the same day, even at the festival seasons.

It is likely the motto of the producers to retain some more collections, if the film was released alone without a competition, so that there will be only one option for the viewers.

Kerela Court Ban Kamal's Drishyam Remake!

Kamalhassan has just launched the shooting of the Tamil remake of the Malayalam Superhit film 'Drishyam' which actually featured Mohanlal and Meena in the lead roles.

The film has now been banned by the Ernakulam Court, until the judgement of the case against it is announced.

Ekta Kapoor has claimed that Drishyam is the adaptation of the Japanese novel 'The Devotion Of Suspect X' for which she has retained the movie rights.

But now Jeethu Joseph who has directed Drishyam has said that there might be similarities between the two, but isn't a exact copy.

Noted character actor 'Kadhal' Dhandapani passed away today morning due to cardiac arrest.  He is 71 and has acted in around 160 films in all the Southern languages.

His body is currently at the Vijaya Hospitals in Chennai and Kollywood representatives are expected to pay their last respects to him, before his cremation in his native Dindigul.

He was known for his intense portrayal in many films and also showed his knack for comedy in a few movies.

Arun who doesn't expected such a moment, was also surprised by the reaction of the fans on hearing about his role. He has also said that Thala55 will surely be a rocking one.

He has tweeted "Hi friends.. I didn't disclose much about the character I play in Gowtham sir's film, as it was meant to be a Surprise... :) but was zapped when Rathnam sir announced on stage in a recent award function.But was really happy when the stadium roared on hearing it.. :-)

'Sathuranga Vettai' Film Preview!

'Sathuranga Vettai' - the film which features Natraj, Ishara Nair in the lead has created the buzz in the Kollywood, by its impressive trailers which shows the hero saying 'Ilayathalapathi Vijay Thakka Pattara?', will be releasing this weekend on 18th July.

The film directed by debutant director H.Vinoth will surely be a comedy thriller film and the trailer showcases it clearly.

The cast of the film includes Ponvannan, Ilavarasu and many more. It is to note that this is the debut Production venture of the renowned comedy actor Manobala.

'Anjaan' Audio Launch Cancelled!

Suriya's Anjaan has been the most buzzed film of the star which is gearing up for its release on 15th August.

The songs of the film composed by yuvan which has earlier announced to be releasing on 22nd July at a grand function in Chennai Trade Center or Sathyam Cinemas has now been cancelled.

It is now announced that due to the uncertainties in getting location for the audio Launch.

Hence it is clear there wont be any formal audio launch event, the songs will be directly available on stores from 23rd July.

Vijay who is currently busy in 'Kaththi' has already signed his next film with director Chimbudevan.

There were several news and rumours about the heroine of film. Finally it is confirmed that Shruti Hassan will be the heroine of this epic film.
